I'm Susan Braverman and I Make Things
Creativity has always been a part of my DNA. My passion for drawing, painting and sewing goes back for as long as I can remember. The way forward has been full of stops and starts. Those skills were on the back burner for many years while life took over. Being a military spouse, working full time as a registered nurse and raising three daughters didn't leave much time for artistic outlets. In 2019 I decided to switch gears and focus on creative work full time in my studio. In the beginning of my quilting journey I used patterns with basic construction but quickly realized I wanted to interpret my own ideas. I gravitate toward bold solid colors and contemporary layouts. Today my quilts are original works expressed in a modern style that is still evolving.
